Leadership Development Workshops

  • Clients regularly ask us to design and deliver specific leadership development workshops, frequently focusing on themes which have emerged during individual or team coaching. The aim of these workshops is to enable senior or high-potential executives rapidly to enhance their understanding and practice of leadership within the context of their organisational and professional goals.
  • These events are entirely tailor-made, based on careful observation and assessment of what each client needs. None of our work is 'off the shelf' and we create each design in collaboration with key individuals from the business concerned, including the leader and, where possible, representatives of the participant group.
  • All workshops are highly interactive. We use a blend of models and skills-based tools which are fundamental to good leadership and management practice. These interventions enable participants both to extend their understanding of leadership concepts and to generate practical strategies and behaviours which will bring immediate results in the workplace.
  • Typical sessions could include a combination of the following:
    • Building emotional intelligence.
    • Using MBTI® to understand and leverage different working styles and preferences.
    • Situational leadership and coaching for performance.
    • Feedback - giving, receiving, and tackling 'difficult conversations'.
    • Developing a range of influencing and communication styles.
    • Work Interests Schedule - motivations at work and their impact.
    • Managing change and transition.
  • Workshops are often also linked to the launch of a 360 degree feedback process and may include sessions in which participants share and review individual Action Plans in small, confidential groups.
  • The hallmark of our workshops is the thoughtful nature of the design and the closeness with which we then work with clients individually and in the group. It is this, combined with our commitment to flexibility and practical value, that contributes to the sustainable results we are able to generate.
