Gerry has over twenty years' experience consulting to large organisations internationally. Since 2002 he has specialised in coaching senior executives and high potential individuals across all industry sectors. He has helped them overcome their work challenges, build their confidence and capability and successfully navigate their organisations' political landscape. He brings psychological understanding combined with extensive coaching and senior management experience.

Management consulting is at the heart of Gerry's business background, working with Deloitte's and Capgemini, where he held senior management positions including European responsibility. His business knowledge is enhanced by a professional accounting qualification (ACMA) and an MBA from London Business School.

He brings an empathic and challenging style to his coaching work, building rapport quickly and facilitating productive conversations early in the coaching process. His approach combines a pragmatic focus on his clients' business goals alongside supporting them to develop greater insight into their values and longer-term priorities.

Gerry is experienced in working with groups and teams as a coach and facilitator, is a certified executive coach and a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). He has also completed substantial psychology training, including a Diploma in Applied Psychology from London University. He is qualified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®), FIRO-B psychometrics, Lominger's Voices® (360 feedback tool), the Leadership Versatility Index and EQi (Emotional Intelligence Instrument). He uses these tools to help clients understand themselves and how they interact with others.

He has worked with a wide range of public and private sector organisations including Argent (Property Development) Services, O2, EDF, The Competition Commission, UBS, Fujitsu, WPP, Barclays Bank, EBRD, Credit Suisse, Lloyd's Register, Masstock, DTZ, Oktra, The Prudential, Hay Consulting, The Natural History Museum, Glaxo, BT, John Lewis, Subsea7, Kingsley Napley, Margaret Howell and a number of privately owned medium-sized businesses.
